Good Working Relationships

Communicating with others, regardless of the position you hold in a workplace, is a vital part of everyday working relationships.

In dealing with many different types of people in the workplace, you may need to know how to respond to the different needs and requests of people. Try to remain helpful and courteous even if you are under pressure with work.

                                 

Oral Skills

Explain things clearly and simply. Be confident enough to ask someone if you are not sure about something. Try to avoid sounding like you know what you are talking about, when you’re actually not sure.

Computer-based Skills

Ensure that information on the computer is legible and accurate so that colleagues can follow up activities smoothly for a client or customer. Ensure entries are dated and assigned properly.

Written Skills

Always present written information legibly and correctly for colleagues. Messages must be presented accurately and with clear details. Always ensure that colleagues who has taken any messages or appointment in case of queries.
